Terms of Use

App name: Copiadd Provider: KAIMEIDO (Representative: Takashi Kanamori / Location: Osaka, Japan)

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) set out the conditions for using the application “Copiadd” (the “App”) provided by KAIMEIDO (“we”). By using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

1. Application

These Terms apply to everything concerning your use of the App between you and us.

2. Fees

The App is provided free of charge. There are no ads and no in-app purchases.

3. Handling of data

The App stores the data you enter only on your device and does not transmit it externally. For details, please see our separate Privacy Policy. Backing up and restoring your data is your responsibility. Data may be lost due to device failure, loss, device change, deletion of the App, or similar events.

4. Disclaimer regarding conversion and auto-fill

The App provides assistive features such as converting addresses to kana or romaji and auto-filling addresses from a postal code. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of these results.

You must always check the content yourself before submitting or registering anything you copied, shared, or auto-filled with any service. We are not liable for any damages arising from errors in conversion or input results.

5. Prohibited conduct

In using the App, you must not engage in acts that violate laws or public order and morals, acts that interfere with the operation of the App, or acts of copying, modifying, or reverse-engineering the App for redistribution (except to the extent permitted by law).

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that the App is fit for your particular purpose, is free of errors or defects, or can be used without interruption.

7. Limitation of liability

We are not liable for any damages incurred by you arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, except where we are guilty of intent or gross negligence, or except where such exclusion is not permitted by applicable law.

8. Intellectual property

Copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights in and related to the App belong to us or the rightful holders. Licenses for the open-source software used by the App are shown in the App under “Settings → Licenses.”

9. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms as needed. The revised Terms take effect upon an app update or upon posting on this page.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. In the event of a dispute concerning the App, the Osaka District Court shall be the court of exclusive jurisdiction of the first instance by agreement.
